How zcaler.io came about
In 2017, a group of young Guatemalan and Danish entrepreneurs saw an interesting opportunity to introduce a couple of exciting Scandinavian software products to the US and Latin America. These companies had the right product but were in need of the right strategy and the right talent to do it. That’s where we came in.
We started out by introducing and selling their software but we quickly grew to also cover customer success, customer support, and creative roles for them to keep up with the demand. And just like that, zcaler.io was born organically and has since become a partner for visionary companies who refuse to just do what everybody else is doing.
Our mission is to help companies achieve their goals by providing them with the best possible talent. We believe that Latin America has a wealth of untapped talent, and we’re committed to helping businesses tap into that talent.
We’re still a young company, but we’re already creating a big impact on our partners and on our employees’ lives. As we continue growing, we will remain agile to keep up with our partners’ changing needs.

Walter Zepeda
CEO & Co-Founder
Walter has been fortunate to experience a diverse and fulfilling journey in his career. From diplomatic postings to starting entrepreneurial ventures, he feels grateful for the opportunities that have come his way as well as for the leaders that have inspired him. Currently, Walter is honored to serve as the CEO and Co-Founder of zcaler.io, a company dedicated to fostering growth and empowerment for individuals and organizations alike.
Through zcaler.io, he aspires to create meaningful connections between talented individuals and exceptional companies.
Outside of zcaler.io, Walter enjoys running and entertaining the idea of eventually getting involved in politics.
Simon Junker
Co-founder & Non-Executive Director
Simon has a keen interest in media and technology with an international twist. Originally from Denmark, he’s dedicated the past 15 years to exploring the US and Latin America, immersing himself in diverse cultures and gaining invaluable experiences.
During his journey, he’s established successful companies across Europe, the US, and Latin America. Through these ventures, he’s had the opportunity to create platforms that bring together talented individuals and engage various stakeholders. In all of these ventures he has gone to great lengths to create environments where talent can truly flourish.
In his spare time, Simon enjoys golfing and dreaming of changing the world through economics.
Daniel Meza
Co-founder & Non-Executive Director
Daniel has embarked on an exciting journey through the realms of finance and technology.
Starting as CFO of an e-commerce company, he tapped into his financial expertise to drive meaningful progress while learning along the way that there is a huge difference between a spreadsheet with numbers and building a real company with real people.
Daniel then moved on to start his own businesses and also went on to become a university professor, sharing his valuable experiences in growing B2B companies.
He finds inspiration in the timeless principles of classic philosophy and the creativity of playing the piano.
